We are on a mission to complete 48 competitions in 48 states in 48 weeks to inspire women to step out of their comfort zone and show themselves they are stronger and more capable than they could ever imagine. Through this journey we will highlight women taking action alongside us. Follow our journey, train with us, work with us to create change, and join the mission we are on to inspire action

Build True Self- Confidence

Self-confidence for women and girls is at an all time low while comparison is at an all time high. The real tragedy is while women are distracted on social media they’re unable to bring their true strength to the world. I’m on a mission to inspire women and girls to step out of their comfort zone and show themselves they are stronger than they think. In 48 days I will complete 48 fitness competitions in 48 states bringing awareness to ROX, Ruling Our Experiences, a 501c(3) that develops confident girls who control their own relationships, experiences, decisions, and futures.

I am going on a mission to complete 48 competitions in 48 states within 48 days, in order to inspire a movement of girls and women stepping out of their comfort zones, building confidence through doing hard things, and pushing their limits. During our journey, we will be hosting mini events in specific states, inviting women to join us, and bring awareness to ROX, Ruling Our Experiences, a 501c(3) that develops confident girls who control their own relationships, experiences, decisions, and futures. Mission for MORE

I am PROUD to partner with ROX for a goal of sponsoring 10,000 girls for ROX programs. ROX, Ruling Our eXperiences, is a national non-profit leader in programming, research and education focused on girls. It provides evidence-based 20-week empowerment programs for girls in elementary, middle, and high school. ROX trains counselors, social workers, and educators to facilitate these programs in schools around the country. The programs teach girls how to communicate effectively, form healthy body image, navigate social media, and become leaders.

Who is Kelsey

I am a normal girl with big dreams, and even bigger actions. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Sports Medicine. Original plans were to attend graduate school for Physical Therapy. However, during my senior year, I felt a pull on my heart strings telling me I had a different mission. After a life changing year of training to step onto a bodybuilding stage, it led me to understand each of us has a world of unlimited growth and opportunities. We only need to seek them out and take advantage of them. I realized that true transformation comes from multiple areas: nutrition, training, mindset and community. Since then I have exceeded my own self-limitations and have become a:

  • 5x Bodybuilding Competitor
  • 4x Powerlifting Competitor
  • Powerbuilding Competitor
  • Half-Marathon
  • Spartan + Many other Races

As a result of my own journey, I founded EmpowHER Fitness that coaches women all around the country in their nutrition, fitness, and mindset. I also run EmpowHER Fitness Events, which are all-women’s international strength events that challenge women to step out of their comfort zone and show themselves they’re stronger than they think. My unique approach to fitness has helped hundreds of women get results, grow their mindset, and become strong, confident versions of themselves. 

I am currently pursuing Mission48, where I will complete 48 fitness competitions in 48 states in 48 days to raise money for ROX, Ruling Our Experiences, a 501c(3) that develops confident girls who control their own relationships, experiences, decisions, and futures. My goal is to inspire women to do hard things, push their limits and build true self-confidence.
